e-Polite® includes a series of functions that makes it not only a solution for compliance with current anti-spam regulations but also a tool for improving corporate productivity.
FUNCTIONS
§ Compliance with the Information Society Services Act
Your company will comply with the Act, avoiding the sending of e-mails to people who have not authorised the use of their details for commercial purposes and offering a simple and free cancellation mechanism in each e-mail.
§ Automatic Cancellation Service
e-Polite® automatically processes cancellation requests, adding the e-mail of the addressee requesting it to the table of forbidden addresses, thus saving on administration time.
§ Automatic Authorisation Service
You can collect the express authorisation of addressees to receive commercial communications by e-mail by including the e-Polite® automatic authorisation service on your website. (“double opt-in” authorisation)
§ Automatic multi-language services
Allows for the automatic authorisation and cancellation services to be published in different languages.
§ Distribution lists
Allows for distribution lists to be created to send mass e-mails from any e-mail client.
§ Multiple message footnote support
Allows for different footnotes to be inserted into outgoing e-mails, in line with filtering rules.
§ Includes process monitor
e-Polite 2.0 includes a display to monitor the messages being processed to detect any system or communications problems.
§ Productivity control
e-Polite® enables you to improve productivity by controlling the personal use of e-mail in your company. You can monitor and even block it without infringing the right to privacy of your employees, as you do not need to access the contents.
§ Mode of action configuration
You can choose how the application behaves:
§ SEVERE: Only explicitly authorised e-mails are sent.
§ MODERATE: Explicitly forbidden e-mails are not sent.
§ Configuration of “Processing rules”
e-Polite Filter is an outgoing e-mail filtering system that enables you to configure processing rules by SENDER and ADDRESSEE, acting as an e-mail firewall. It checks whether the addressee addresses are authorised or forbidden and provides a transmission log.
§ Consulting the activity log
You can view the e-mail transmission log for your organisation and filter your queries by source, destination, date and permitted or refused messages.
§ Parameterisable messages
Using the administration panel you can customise the text in the footnotes on outgoing messages - to offer the addressee the possibility of cancelling transmission permission – in the return message to the sender of unauthorised e-mails, in the automatic cancellation service and in the automatic registration service.
§ Managing source and destination items
You can group source and destination items into lists for easier configuration of the filtering lists.
§ Displaying outgoing e-mail queues
You can display all pending transmissions from the Queue Management option.
§ Remote administration
The application administrator may remotely access the system over the internet from any PC, identifying him/herself using his/her login and password.
